Melbourne was the host city of the 1956 Olympic games , except for two events. Equestrian events were held in Stockholm Sweden and rowing events were held here on Lake Wendouree in Ballarat. the Olympic rowing course is still used to this day.

as i was leaving the railway foot bridge i heard this car coming along. no idea as to what it was , as he didn’t stop , but the driver did wave as he went around the corner.
